By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. About Me

H.OReilly.Art provides original artwork, limited and open edition prints, ACEOs, greeting cards and commission artwork.
All items are designed, created and packed by me personally.

2. Products

I sell:

  • Original artwork

  • Art prints

  • ACEOs (Art Cards, Editions & Originals)

  • Greeting cards

  • Commissioned artwork

Due to the handmade nature of many products, slight variations may occur. This is part of the charm and uniqueness of original and hand-produced art.

3. Colour & Screen Display Disclaimer

Please note that colours may vary slightly due to differences in screen settings, monitor calibration, and device displays.

I do my best to represent all artwork as accurately as possible in photographs, but I cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen will exactly match the physical artwork.

Unfortunately, differences in colour appearance due to screen settings are not considered faults.

4. Ordering & Payments

All orders are made directly through this website via Squarespace.

Payment methods include:

  • Debit / credit cards

  • Klarna (where available via Squarespace)

Orders must be paid in full before items are shipped, unless otherwise stated in commission agreements.

5. Commissions

Deposits

  • Small commissions (ACEO to A5): £5 non-refundable deposit

  • A4 commissions: £10 non-refundable deposit

The deposit secures your slot and is deducted from the final price.

Deposits are non-refundable, even if you later change your mind, as they help cover time, admin and materials.

Payment & Completion

The remaining balance must be paid before the finished artwork is shipped or delivered.

Revisions

We will discuss your ideas and preferences before I begin.
Minor adjustments may be allowed, but once the final artwork is approved, no further changes can be made.

Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of commissions:

  • I do not offer refunds or cancellations once work has begun.

  • If you cancel before work has started, your deposit is still non-refundable.

6. Refunds & Returns

Original Artwork & Commissions

Due to the nature of original and custom-made art:

  • No refunds are offered on original artwork or completed commissions.

Prints & Greeting Cards

Refunds are available on printed items if they arrive damaged or faulty.

7. Exchanges

I’m happy to offer exchanges on eligible returned items, subject to the following:

  • The item must be returned in its original condition

  • You are responsible for return postage

  • Returned items must be securely packaged

Once received and inspected, we can arrange an exchange where possible.

8. Shipping

Standard Shipping

All orders are posted using Standard or Second Class shipping (depending on size, value and destination).

I ship worldwide.

Enhanced / Tracked Shipping

If you would like a tracked, signed or enhanced shipping service, please contact me before check-out.
I will provide a separate invoice for any additional postage costs.

9. Packaging

All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. I do my best to use protective and eco-conscious materials wherever possible.

10. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All artwork remains the intellectual property of H.OReilly.Art.

By purchasing artwork, you are buying a physical piece, not the copyright.

You may:
✔ Display it in your home
✔ Gift it
✔ Share photos of it on social media (credit appreciated!)

You may not:
✘ Reproduce it
✘ Sell copies
✘ Use it for commercial purposes
Without written permission.

11. Wholesale Enquiries

I welcome wholesale enquiries for greeting cards and prints.

If you are a retailer or business interested in stocking my work, please get in touch via the website contact form or email.
Wholesale terms (including pricing, minimum orders and lead times) will be discussed directly.

12. Liability

I am not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by postal services

  • Customs fees or import taxes on international orders

  • Damage caused after confirmed delivery

13. UK Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
